Erik Worts Leather High Back Safari Chair
Erik Worts
Circa 1960
Oak, leather
37 1/2" high x 25" wide x 27" deep
Erik Worts' high back iteration of the classic safari chair is quite beautiful. The oak legs are slender and curvaceous, there is a cushioned headrest and loose seat cushion, and the dark burgundy leather overall is soft and wonderfully aged. Manufactured by Niels Eilerson of Denmark in the late 1950s-early 1960s.
